These impressive earrings have been crafted from Sterling Silver which has been 'antiqued' to give it a vintage feel. The beautiful rose design has been layered up which makes them very three dimensional with a proper handcrafted feel. The way the silver has been formed into petals is a testament to the crafting that went into making this beautiful ring. 

The hallmarks reveal that this piece was made by Rytosktuka in the town of Poznań in Poland. Established in 1950, they were known for creating modern designs for the time, hand-assembling pieces and hand-placing stones ensuring quality craftsmanship. The cooperative is now closed down so no new pieces are being made.

These earrings pair wonderfully with the Sterling Silver rose ring and Sterling Silver vine necklace also made by Rytosktuka in the same time period to create a striking floral jewellery set.

ITEM DETAILS

ERA: Vintage (1980 - 1990s)

MEASUREMENTS: Each rose is approximately 24mm in diameter and 9mm in depth. The earring wires extend 17mm from the top of the rose to the top of the hook.

WEIGHT: 9.21g

HALLMARKS: On the earring wires (side): 925, P, Lady's Head for Sterling Silver, P for Poznań and the Lady's Head in combination with these for Poland. On the earring wires (back): 'R' in a diamond for Rytosztuka and an unknown hallmark

RING SIZE (IF APPLICABLE): N/A

CONDITION

Very Very Good - The antique finish is still looks excellent. The petals show no signs of soldering or repair and no signs of dents. The earring wires are still very strongly attached to the roses themselves.
