With its captivating bright red tones, this beautiful coral necklace is absolutely stunning. Featuring two strands of 3.5mm - 4.0mm faceted rondelles with a solid 9ct Yellow Gold lobster clasp, it strikes the perfect balance being both bold and delicate at the same time. The choice of using faceted rondelles means the light hits at various angles and shows off all the shades of red it has to offer.

Coral jewellery has been worn since the 17th century but became more popular during the Regency and late Georgian Era (1760 - 1837). Coral necklaces were initially worn as a talisman as they were thought to protect the wearer. There was a tradition of giving children coral necklaces to protect them. Eventually coral became worn most for its stunning colour and natural beauty.

This necklace does bring a rich, warm colour to any outfit and is a wonderful addition to any jewellery collection

**NOTE - We cannot ship this item overseas due to export and import restrictions around coral and coral products **
