This beautiful ring is crafted from 18ct White Gold and features a hand engraved band which has been added onto a plain 18ct White Gold band and dates to back to around the 1920s - 1930s.

This ring is so simple and elegant. It has a lovely art deco feel to it, with the smaller band having a lovely scrollwork pattern which is quite fine rather than big and bold. That finer band has been soldered to the wider band underneath which gives it width and a good weight without taking away from the design.

A lovely ring to add to any collection and especially one for lovers of art deco style jewellery.

ITEM DETAILS

ERA: 1920s - 1930s

MEASUREMENTS: The engraved band is approximately 2mm wide and 1.10mm in height.
The plain band is approximately 4mm wide and 0.75mm in height.
The total height off the finger is 1.85mm

WEIGHT: 3.89g

HALLMARKS: '18CT' for 18ct Gold

RING SIZE (IF APPLICABLE): 'M' - because of the engraved band, it would have an ability to be sized down but not up

CONDITION

Excellent - The ring is in lovely condition for its age. The engraving on the raised band is still well defined with little wear. Near where the engraved band meets the solid band, there is some small evidence of solder from when they soldered the bands together. The inside of the band has some light marks in keeping with its age. There are no signs of resizing or repair.
