This is such a special piece. A beautiful piece of history that you can keep or turn it into your own. This lovely early 20th century pendant features scroll work engraving on the front and patterned engraving on the rear. It also features the most stunning blue enamel on the front and if you look, it resembles a dog collar with lead section.

Why is this so important? The answer comes when you open it and see the very sweet picture of a dog laying on a cushion inside. It is then that you realise that this locket was more than likely commissioned to cherish what would have been a beloved family pet.

The wonderful thing is that you have a choice here. You can keep this unknown piece of history or you could put a photo of your own beloved pet here. The inside rear section has not been engraved so you could engrave in there as well. We have tested the removal of the glass frame and it does come out. We can therefore supply it intact or with the glass frame removed so you can put your own photo in there. You can also speak to our team about sending your photo to us and having us print and place it for you for an additional fee.

Whatever you choose to do with this beautiful locket is up to you however what a wonderful way of keeping a cherished family pet close to your heart.
